Deductions: 10 pts - late assignment
Harmony (maximum deduction, 10 pts) 3 pts - unrecognizable chord 2 pts - weak harmonic progression 2 pts - triad without a third 2 pts - second inversion triad other than cadential, passing bass, arpeggiated bass or pedal bass 1 pt - vii° not in 1st inversion
Melody (maximum deduction, 10 pts) 2 pts - alto or tenor line does not move to the nearest note 2 pts - awkward leap in any part (7th, dim. or aug. interval, interval > P8)
Counterpoint (maximum deduction, 10 pts) 2 pts - perfect parallel motion 1 pt - ti does not resolve to do in an authentic cadence 1 pt - 7th of a 7th chord does not resolve down by step
Doubling (maximum deduction, 10 pts) 3 pts - missing a part (S, A, T or B) 1 pt - the leading tone, an altered tone or 7th of a 7th chord is doubled
Other (maximum deduction, 10 pts) 1 pt - more than an octave between S/A or A/T 1 pt - voice crossing 1 pt - extreme register
