NSU professors are personally committed to supporting your academic success in all your courses. For that reason, if you demonstrate any concerns which may impede your success, your professor will personally discuss and attempt to resolve the issue with you. S/he may also make a referral using Starfish, NSU’s online student success program. Starfish will allow your professor to send you various recommendations and tips for improvement, which you will receive via email and also on your Starfish homepage. If you receive a “flag” in Starfish, please see your professor or seek assistance and support from your advisor or other staff members on campus. Our goal is to make your learning experience in all your courses as meaningful and successful as possible.
