Practice slowly and accurately.
Use a metronome. (Online Metronome) It is tempting to practice at tempos that are too fast. Have patience and concentrate on absolutely even playing. Fast tempos will soon follow. Be certain that you are playing the correct notes and rhythms with the correct fingers. Unlearning is more difficult and time-consuming than practicing slowly and accurately.
