Pentatonic Playing by Ear

The following tunes can be played with just the 5 black keys. Please perform them by ear, i.e. do not use music.
Start on B flat:	Hot Cross Buns (only 3 notes!) Jolly Old Saint Nicholas (only 5 notes) Mary Had a Little Lamb, a.k.a. Merrily We Roll Along (only 4 notes) Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater Swing Low, Sweet Chariot
Start on D flat:	Amazing Grace Auld Lang Syne Farmer in the Dell Jesus Loves Me Ring Around the Rosy
Start on G flat:	500 miles - Peter, Paul and Mary [Original Audio] Old MacDonald (only 5 notes)
Start on E flat:	I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing (verse)
After you have mastered one or more of these melodies in your right hand, add chords in your left hand from the F Sharp Major Cadence Pattern. Many more pentatonic tunes exist. I only included relatively familiar songs. Please suggest more: william.wieland@northern.edu
