I take a blood thinner, so I eat less vitamin K. Long USDA List (I avoid any foods over 100 μg of vitamin K per serving.)
- Avoid green leafy vegetables: asparagus, broccoli, brussel sprouts, chard, endive, greens, kale, kohlrabi, parsley, sauerkraut, spinach
- Also avoid: avocados, cashews, cranberries, grapefruit, green tea, kelp, mangos, pine nuts, soybeans, soy oil
- A little: alcohol, cabbage, coleslaw, green beans, onions, green peas, romaine lettuce
- In moderation: iceberg lettuce
- Good: beans, dairy, eggs, fish, most fruit, grains, legumes, meat, mushrooms, most unsalted nuts, unsalted seeds, spices, many vegetables
